Racehorse Chelokee is on the mend and may be released to go home in a few weeks.

He injured himself by dislocating his right front ankle in the Alysheba Stakes back in May.

A picture released a few days ago showed Big Brown's shoe was halfway off early in the Belmont Stakes. This may explain why he wasn't up to it.
