Even in the rural areas like Elko County called "Gibbons Country" are finally seeing what a corrupt dipshit the governor really is.
It isn't just his messy divorce that's causing the misgivings, but the Elko Daily Free Press editorial taking Gibbons on probably put a stake through his political future.
If he's in trouble there, he's in trouble all over the state.
Edit: Speaking of trouble, today I rode my bike out to the area where Gibbons lives. I was correct in my assertion Kinney Lane is just south of Windy Hill on Lakeside Drive. The area continues to be developed with McMansions and other eyesores where there was once farmland. There are still ranches and farmland, but the McMansions have gradually ruined the place in the 24 years I have lived in the Truckee Meadows. Anyway, Kinney Lane is split into two sections. Going south on Lakeside, the part on the left (to the east) has a few McMansions there, and I don't think Gibbons lives there, for there are no yards big enough for him to spend six hours on any of them. On the right-hand side or to the west, it gradually goes uphill, and since I don't have the exact number of his place, I cannot tell you where exactly he lives. Even I did know that, I wouldn't be so nasty as to post his actual address here. Besides, as this is only the second time in about six weeks I have ridden the bike (for the weather here has been unpredictable and I have also gone through a bunch of shit at my place of employment and earlier didn't feel like using up all my energy to ride), I was not in good enough shape to go all the way up the west part of Kinney Lane, so after I went up a ways, I turned around and continued my ride.
Anyhow, I didn't see anybody resembling Gibbons or his latest squeeze around.
