Did the media overhype Tim Russert's death?
Only if you live in a cave would you think his death hadn't been reviewed to death.
Peter Jennings, who was probably better known than Russert, didn't get anywhere near the coverage when he tragically died of cancer.
NBC even gets Russert's son, Luke, in on the action:
He and his mom are doing the best they can under the circumstances.
