Campaign Follies.

Obama accuser Larry Sinclair has raised the $5,000 he needs to retain a Delaware attorney in his legal battle in that state.

Later on he revealed the name of his lawyer. The attorney, Richard R. Wier, Jr., was once attorney general of the state of Delaware.

More here and here about Wier.

Sinclair will appear in a Delaware court tomorrow.

It has now gone far beyond what allegedly happened in that limo in Chicago in 1999. This is about big-time harassment and wrongful arrest, and for what? To silence somebody some people don't like.

Sinclair mentions in the comments his disability benefits have been restored.

And what about the accused in the original story? He's going around the country in order to prove the old saying patriotism is the last refuge of a soundrel.

While some on the "left" are upset with Obama's lurch to the "right," the WSWS notes this is par for the course for this particular politician:

The positions being taken by Obama are not some clever vote-winning ploy. What you see is what you get. He is a thoroughly corrupt and reactionary politician, who has clawed his way up through the political cesspool known as the Chicago Democratic Party machine. He is prepared to do anything to succeed and whatever is required to uphold the interests of the ruling elite that both political parties serve.

Obama's discounted loan is probably less worrisome than the friend who helped him get the mansion in the first place.
