Talk show host Les Crane, 74, has died. He started his long career in San Francisco on KGO radio. He tried--and failed--to compete with Johnny Carson on late-night television.
Crane was married five times. His fourth wife was actress Tina Louise of Gilligan's Island notoriety. Ironically, his fifth wife is named Ginger. They were married for 20 years.
