I have practically no voice, and I don't know if it's due to being sick or it is a result of being exposed to all of the smoke that came from California into northern Nevada. In any case, I didn't feel well enough to attend the "Food for the Soul" concert. Instead, I listened to Larry Sinclair, who hasn't gone into hiding in the least and is still battling his internet harassers to the point where his new blog has been hacked or is offline (he explains in this post what actually happened), make an appearance on self-proclaimed racist "talk show host" Hal Turner. That was an interesting show to say the least, but Turner at least treated Sinclair fairly, and most of the callers were respectful and had some good questions to ask of him. The reason Sinclair appeared on the show despite the host's rather dubious reputation is that he feels the word needs to get out, and he will appear on any show that will give him the air time.
After listening to the program (I refused to listen to that racist swill after Sinclair left), I came across this AP news item which states Jesse Jackson (Senior) of all people actually used the "n" word off-the-air during his now-infamous "open mic" appearance where he wanted to cut Obama's you-know-whats off.
