You never know what you will find when you surf the net. Seeing the name of "Fred Oesterreich" at the Find A Grave website, I had to do research on his murder. It was one of the most bizarre cases of all time, as his wife kept her much-younger boyfriend in the attic for YEARS, and ol' Fred didn't know it until the night he died. Then it was too late.
There have been books written about the case, and movies based on it as well. It truly remains one of the craziest cases ever.
