Obituaries [Updated]

The AP had to kill a news alert which said Representative Stephanie Tubbs-Jones has died, which is news to her.

Her obituary is here. It was written a couple of hours ago before AP decided to pull her "death."

She is in critical condition, however, as a result of an aneurysm.

In any case, her condition is not good. She reportedly has limited brain function.

Still, the media shouldn't go around reporting deaths of people who haven't died in order to get a "scoop." This is embarrassing and horrible for her family.

Update: Now it's been confirmed that Tubbs-Jones, 58, has died this evening.

It's beyond awful the media jumped the gun.
