was the Thames television 13-part series on silent film produced by Kevin Brownlow and David Gill, Hollywood: A Celebration of the American Silent Film. It was produced around 1979 or 1980. I had (have) almost all of the series when it was on VHS, but some asshole is sitting on the rights and will not release it on DVD.
Somebody on YouTube, though, has posted a couple of the episodes at least. This clip is the first of five of an episode of early silent film scandals (the rest are at the link):
