Included in this clip from a pre-Code film is a catfight between stars Clara Bow and Thelma Todd, both of whom had tragic lives and deaths:
What is laughable is the myth Bow's voice had this heavy Brooklyn accent, and that hurt her in sound films. Actually her voice was great, just as John Gilbert's was.
Bow's story was one of the most tragic of all Hollywood stars. David Stenn's Clara Bow: Running Wild is the definitive biography of this great star.
