Some that I have overlooked recently include the following:

R&B singer Nappy Brown, 78, of respiratory failure.


Singer Connie Haines, 87, of myasthenia gravis which was the same disease Aristotle Onassis had.


Actress Marpessa Dawn, 74, of a heart attack.

Note this:

Ms. Dawn’s death followed by 41 days that of her “Black Orpheus” co-star, Bruno Melo, who played the title role. The family did not publicly announce the death until this week.
