The Most Entertaining Bad Movie of All Time [Updated]

Here are the final parts of the 1966 classic turkey, The Oscar, which to my knowledge STILL isn't on DVD:

And the incomparable ending (some overlap with the previous clip):

I love, love, LOVE this movie. It is far more entertaining than 100 Citizen Kanes.

You'd never know from his performance here Stephen Boyd was actually nominated for an Oscar, for his performance of Messala in 1959's Ben Hur.

Update: Boyd actually wasn't nominated for an Oscar; however, he was nominated for a Golden Globe award, which he won.

Watching this movie back to back with Valley of the Dolls is an extraordinary experience.

Oh, I love "The Oscar"! It was just on TCM not too long ago.

BTW, Stephen Boyd was never nominated for an Oscar. The other actor from "Ben-Hur" (besides Charlton Heston) who won was Hugh Griffith for Best Supporting Actor.

You are right; I made a correction. Boyd was nominated and won a Golden Globe for his performance in Ben Hur.

I wish this movie would come out on DVD. I can't believe the numerous films which still are not out on DVD, including many of Jean Harlow's best films.
