This excellent post states perfectly why I under NO circumstances will support Obama as president. He is nothing more than one of two sides of the same Republican coin as John McCain.
It's infuriating we have no choices this election. You have the McCain ticket which is Republican, and people KNOW what they are getting. Then we have Obama (sans Biden, a real Democrat despite his banking industry support), who is a slicker version of the GOP ticket.
We're fucked over in this country. Obama wins, Democrats will be screwed for years afterwards. If it's McCain, the country is screwed for at least the next four years but with a possibility of the Democrats returning.
The vote on the bailout is just nothing short of another battle in the class war by the economic elites against the American people.
