The working poor and young are the hardest hit in this economic downturn.
What is really needed is an FDR-style jobs program to fix infrastructure, for one thing, despite howls from the right about "make-work" jobs.
And yes, the crooks who got us into this economic mess SHOULD have to sacrifice with higher taxes, which won't hurt us at all, and for more than a few, JAIL.
