Jimbo Eruptions

For almost $1.5 million, you can purchase a slice of history. Or else you can just forget it since it belongs to divorcing first couple Jim and Dawn Gibbons:

Built in 1986 on nearly three acres, the 4,677 square-foot home was purchased by Jim and Dawn Gibbons in 1989, according to information on the Washoe County Assessor’s Web site.

“It’s not unusual for people who are adults who have no children at home who go through a divorce to sell a large home,” Dunlap said. “From our perspective, it’s better to list and sell now than it is later when the value might go down considerably more.”
