Obama is going to rue the day he EVER kept Fitzgerald on, IF indeed he does.
He naively thinks, like the Clintons with the independent counsel or special prosecutor during the Clinton years, that it will help him and make it look like he's got nothing to hide. Unfortunately for him, this is NOT how the Republicans operate. Fitzgerald is a hack, not a great man out for truth, justice, and the American way. He's just like the rest of the GOP scumbags. His timing of the arrest was to help the GOP and possibly get two seats in a special election, not about whatever Blago allegedly did. This will hamstring Obama until the end of his term if he allows it to happen.
