Blago, Etc.

If you're going to run for public office in the first place, people should be able to pronounce your name. Which is why everybody calls Rod "Blago." Apparently the "j" in his last name is pronounced like a "y," at least from what I have heard of it.

Still, people should never run for office if voters can't pronounce the name, let alone spell it. "Schwarzenegger" is bad enough.

Blago is digging his heels in, and now the Illinois house has started impeachment proceedings against him.

Lordy, if he'd have just done what I suggested, this thing would NOT be dragged out, and the GOP would not have their wish of trying to tarnish Obama, who I think is probably as pure as the driven slush, with it ala Whitewater, and steal a couple of Illinois seats in the process.
