The economy is in the shitter here, and there is no quick fix for the problem. People are desperate here. In 25 years of living in this area, I have never seen it so bad. Southern Oregon was never this bad during recessions.
Of course if Jimbo would actually raise taxes, a lot of the problem with the lack of revenue could be solved. We have crappy sources of revenue.
