The President-Elect

It didn't take long before many Obama supporters would express disappointment in him because he has turned out to be the centrist or right-wing Democrat some of us had expected him to be and why some of us don't really trust him.

It's funny. So-called liberals would pooh-pooh the automobile industry crisis as being the industry's own fault and not really care all that much about the dismal state of the American economy, yet some of them will go positively apeshit because their hero decided, like he did in the primaries, to kowtow to the "evangelicals" and have another one at his inauguration who is anti-gay rights and anti-abortion.

It's just one damned speech, but the protesters don't care. This is the most important decision Obama has ever made in the history of the universe.

I will be very surprised if Obama doesn't cave under pressure from the gay activists.
