Proposition 8 Aftermath

AG Jerry Brown went completely overboard subverting the will of voters on Proposition 8.

After all, one cannot declare a constitutional amendment unconstitutional; the courts can't do it, either. The only way to change a constitutional amendment is by putting through another constitutional amendment. In California, this would be done by voter approval. I doubt a repeal would pass, however.

This is all about Brown's political future, which is in tatters anyway.
