Another show mentioned in the 1980 Worst TV Shows Ever book by Bart Andrews and Brad Dunning is the 1966-67 flop, The Pruitts of Southampton, which starred Phyllis Diller. The plot was a reverse of the Beverly Hillbillies. Instead of a poor family suddenly striking it rich, Pruitts featured a filthy rich family suddenly striking it poor.

They changed the title of the show to The Phyllis Diller Show, but as Diller said to Dunning and Andrews, "Changing the title to The Phyllis Diller Show didn't mean a damned thing!" (page 136)
