While GOP senators and representatives continue to pander to the wealthy and corporations and shit every chance they get on Obama's attempts to jumpstart the economy, GOP governors have a somewhat different take.
The national GOP is scared that if Obama succeeds, they could be marginalized for decades. That is what their posturing against his stimulus plan is all about. They couldn't care less about people. It's all about their party's fortunes. Never mind the party screwed up starting with Ronald Reagan and the party's destructive policies continue to this very day.
GOP governors, though, know what is a stake, and as a group they have a hell of a lot more sense (Jimbo excepted).
