Arcangues, the winner of my favorite Breeders' Cup race of all time when he won the 1993 Classic as a 133-1 shot, has been euthanized after suffering from laminitis. He was 21 years old.
Arcangues, bred in Kentucky, was eventually sent to Japan where he died.
