Most religious groups in this country are losing ground and in all regions of the country, according to a new survey.
A lot more people are claiming no religion at all, 15 percent, and, according to the survey, this category outranks all major religious groups in the United States except for Baptists and Catholics. I would say as young people are more secular in outlook, this non-religious group will continue to grow in number, although this researcher says secularism doesn't have a lot to do with the large number of people who say "none" when it comes to their religious identification.
