It appears Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania will switch parties and run for re-election as a Democrat.
Perhaps a couple more will jump. I have a couple of Maine senators in mind.
Unfortunately the Democrats still have blue dogs like Ben Nelson which cancel out Specter.
