what Krugman calls the "medical-industrial complex" is interested at all in meaningful health care reform, for if that happened, they would either be out of business altogether, as in private insurance companies, or their profits would go way, way down, as in big pharma.
Obama, of course, has no intention of instituting any meaningful reform, just bandaid solutions on a metastacizing cancer.
