But there's no other person who bears as much responsibility for the characterization of Tiller as a savage on the loose, killing babies willy-nilly thanks to the collusion of would-be sophisticated cultural elites, a bought-and-paid-for governor and scofflaw secular journalists. Tiller's name first appeared on "The Factor" on Feb. 25, 2005. Since then, O'Reilly and his guest hosts have brought up the doctor on 28 more episodes, including as recently as April 27 of this year. Almost invariably, Tiller is described as "Tiller the Baby Killer."
This kind of demagoguery would never happen if we had a Fairness Doctrine.

Obama said, "However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence." --If Obama only cared that much about the countless babies who died at the hands of that abortionist
A family member said, "Today we mourn the loss of our husband, father and grandfather. Today's event is an unspeakable tragedy for all of us and for George's friends and patients. This is particularly heart wrenching because George was shot down in his house of worship, a place of peace." Wow, how about the wombs that all of those babies were in? The womb is supposed to be a safe place of peace for a baby. But that monster would intrude and kill each one of them, with no remorse.
And I do not feel sorry for a family who loved a murderer. And I sure do NOT feel sorry for a church that had no problem allowing a murderer to attend.

I have a real problem with beliefs like yours which seem to condone the cold-blooded killing of someone in the name of "preserving life." I mean, the irony is just too much to take.
If anti-abortion people had more concern for those already here and weren't on such a crusade to make women return to second-class status, they'd have a lot more credibility.
Susan, I have a real problem with beliefs like yours. The cold-blooded killing of infants is of no consequence to unscrupulous thugs like yourself. "Dr." Tiller was indeed a murderer, HOWEVER, (and try to get this through you twisted mind) Pro-lifers have not come to the defense of the murderer OF Tiller but, ironically you sick leftists are all jumping to the defense of the MURDERER who was Tiller. This blog pathetically attempting to blame the fact that media is free to report this pig's acts of violence instead of abhorring his violence is equally disgusting.
If Tiller was a "murderer," then why wasn't he prosecuted as one under the law? That's because he wasn't; late abortions are rare anyway, and I think you know that. However, fake outrage over those rare late abortions, as enshrined by the "partial-birth" abortion legislation, was just a Trojan horse to ban abortions altogether.
I have followed the abortion issue since BEFORE Roe v. Wade; I am old enough to remember the back alley abortions and the push to have the procedure legalized not only because of the women's movement but that the laws were unenforceable and unenforced. The anti-abortion crowd really doesn't care about fetuses or the "unborn"; on the contrary, what they are most worried about is women's role in society and in families. The so-called sexual freedom of women is also a big concern to those who wish to ban it. The notion "those who play must pay" dies hard.
