Actor, comedian, and chef Dom DeLuise, 75, died in Santa Monica last night, according to his family.
He died in his sleep.

Novelist and feminist Marilyn French, 79, has died. She died of heart failure.
French wrote the novel The Women's Room, published in 1977. Later on she wrote the nonfiction book, The War Against Women, which I have and have read.
An interesting part of this obituary is French had suffered from esophageal cancer after years of smoking and was supposed to die after being diagnosed in 1992, but she survived for many years afterward, although in a lot of pain.
