Public school administrators can hire and fire whoever they want, you stupid shit. All they have to do is engage in a little bit of deception and criminality to get away with firing people they don't want, and it has nothing to do with a teacher's ability, either. It is often a result of cost-cutting measures.
And as for hiring, don't make me laugh. Nepotism and patronage are rampant in public school systems; in fact, they are the rule.

It is no surprise the United States Supreme Court sided with former middle school student Savana Redding, the girl who was strip searched for supposedly possessing drugs.
The ruling was 8-1 in favor of Redding; only Clarence Thomas believed the strip search was legal.
The case goes back to the trial court and it will be up to the court to go forward with the lawsuit.
