In studying privatized schools, Lubienski found that it was the denigrated public school personnel who tended to invent successful classroom innovations and the free-market mechanisms that primarily contributed to standardization in privatized schools. In addition, a recent research study published in Education Week reported that charter school teachers are 230 times more likely to leave the profession than were regular public school teachers.
And considering the widespread maltreatment of teachers in regular public schools who are being shitcanned everywhere for the most frivolous of reasons, the charter school statistic is damning beyond belief.
