Congress is working on extended UI benefits. Whether the final legislation will be 13 weeks or until 2011 is the question.

Leave it to dumbasses like Jim Bunning who try and pin the unemployed as not having the "right" skills for today's economy.

They have the skills, stupid, but there aren't the jobs except for the most menial. And because what is left happens to be the most menial, unskilled jobs, those jobs get hundreds of applicants, thus driving the wages down even lower.

Which is why Republicans despise UI. People who get it aren't as desperate.

I hate the GOP for that reason alone. They don't care about people at all.
