Jimbo Eruptions

Delusional Jimbo thinks he has so much chance of being re-elected governor next year, he will absolutely refuse to appoint himself senator should John Ensign be forced to resign.

He is also mad as hell at the media for dwelling too much on his messy divorce, which of course was his own damned fault:

Talking to reporters after this morning's Board of Examiners meeting, Gibbons also downplayed a settlement hearing scheduled for tomorrow in his contentious divorce case with first lady Dawn Gibbons.

Asked if the divorce will be settled in order to avoid a public trial, Gibbons answered:

"Well, I'm hopeful. It's part of the process," he said. "I didn't think any divorce should be public, the impact it has on both sides, the families, the kids and everybody else."

Sure it should be public, and the more public, the better. There has to be some kind of sideshow to keep people preoccupied in this hellhole of an economy.
