Get this:
Senator Harry Reid hopes a vote will come this week.
But in the meantime, he released this statement: "American families, many of them in my home state of Nevada, are still struggling with high unemployment. They expect their leaders in Washington to put partisanship aside in the interest of giving them much-needed relief."
If the new bills passes, workers in all 50 states could get benefits for another 14 weeks.
In states like Nevada, with especially high unemployment, we'd get six weeks on top of that
Unfortunately, officials with the State Department of Employment say it could still take weeks before people see the difference here at home.
Fucking lovely.
Idaho is going through the roof in its unemployment payouts.
