against public education, as if Nevada school districts aren't already grossly underfunded.

Look for more shitcanning teachers illegally in these school districts but nothing will be done about bloated administrators' salaries:

Gov. Jim Gibbons today is expected to unveil a major education reform plan, after meeting with legislative leaders this afternoon. (Hat tip to Jon Ralston for first reporting parts of the plan last night.)

The plan is aimed at reducing public school funding, which Gibbons has already hinted he'll target for further cuts in a special session likely to be held next month.

Gibbons' deputy chief of staff Lynn Hettrick said today the public schools budget can't keep being protected at the expense of the rest of state government.
