When the media pushes a Democratic candidate in the primaries, voters need to steer clear of that candidate. Unfortunately in 2008 this didn't happen.
Now we have a right-leaning "Democratic" president who is pulling garbage no genuine Republican would have dared countenance. But those who bought the media spin and those who actually wanted to believe this guy was a liberal, let alone a "progressive," are really disappointed in him.
To them I say this: I told you so.
The problem though is we are stuck with him, and either we can push this guy to be a lot more of a real Democrat instead of a neoliberal or else find somebody else to run against him in 2012.
