It was a happy ending for Reagan the rottweiler:

Carter and Reed were shocked when Dr. Jamie Arviso informed them that Reagan had somehow managed to ingest an unknown amount of marijuana and was suffering from acute tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) poisoning.

They were further surprised to learn that the problem was a common one for dogs and cats.

"I really had never heard of anything like this," said Carter. "And it made me wonder how aware other people might be of this problem. They need to know to protect their pets from marijuana poisoning."

Dr. Brendan McKeirnan said he and his fellow veterinarians see at least one case of marijuana poisoning per week at the specialty center.

Dennis Hopper is reportedly on his death bed, but he has supposedly "filed" for divorce.

I smell some bullshit being pulled by his kids over the estate.

Or else, as the L.A. Weekly hints, it's HuffPo that is full of shit themselves:

In a bizarre and arguably sensationalist twist, the Huffington Post reports that the actor, who has been reported to be ill, is facing his "final days surrounded by family and friends" and that he is "mentally incapacitated." It's an odd pronouncement because, if he's on his deathbed, why would he file for divorce (from family and friend, no less)? And how would he find the energy or clarity to file if he's a mental case? What's more, an LA Weekly source disputes any contention that he's out of his mind and doesn't know what he's doing.

The source described seeing Hopper at an event in late December and that he was "lucid" and "walking around" and "clearly knew what he was doing." (Maybe those were the days before his "final days").

Hopper also wants custody of their six-year-old daughter. That doesn't sound like somebody who is ready to cash in his chips.

He has been known as an outspoken Republican, but in this interview a year ago he expressed his opinion why he voted for Obama.
