like it's 1994, and it will be the same old shit as what happened with the Clinton administration: More bogus scandals to hamstring Obama so that he doesn't get ANYTHING done, more obstruction, more ignoring of the real problems facing this country--ESPECIALLY UNEMPLOYMENT. Maybe there will even be a fake impeachment hearing down the road.
This would have happened with virtually any Democrat who got elected to the White House. Democratic presidents can't make nice with this bunch of fascists; they are incapable of reaching across the aisle and being conciliatory.
Obama just doesn't have it to deal with this bunch. Even Bill Clinton wasted a lot of political capital by playing the rope-a-dope technique against these people.

Susan, Democrats seem to have a death wish. They just don't seem to understand that they cannot continue to spit in the face of the Democratic base and hope to get reelected. This is a mistake the GOP never makes. They go out of their way to feed the base. As soon as they gain power they give their base everything it wants. Democrats seem to be ashamed of their base. They want the base to just go away. Except at election time. Then they beg the base to conribute money and vote.
Obama seems to have no passion for passing health care. His attitude seems to be WHATEVER. I detected this attitude during the campaign. He did not have any passion talking about health care. It was if we have the votes we will do what we can. WHATEVER.
They keep comparing him to Carter. But Carter had issues he was passionate about.
It would be tragic if health care died without a fight. Maybe it would have been the same if Hillary had won. But at least she would have gone down fighting. Obama and Dems are not even trying.
Carter ALWAYS had issues he cared about. ALWAYS. And he gave his issues everything, and he still does.
Obama always acted like a puppet during the campaign, and he's acting like a puppet now, with Wall Street pulling the strings. I can't believe the garbage he's pulling with public education, and I expect some movement afloat to destroy Medicare and Social Security. It makes me sick.
