The LAST thing schools need is MORE technology to force teachers to teach a cookie cutter curriculum and students to learn cookie cutter concepts in order to prepare for worthless standardized tests. Naturally, somebody would make a big killing out of putting in technology.
As Ohanian notes, Duncan and Obama aren't worried about local school districts; those two want a NATIONAL curriculum, and they are doing this by way of blackmail, i.e., RTTT.
