When Uploading the Previous Video,

I came across these video excerpts of the CBS Morning News, apparently the debut episode with Hughes Rudd and Sally Quinn. Quinn was a freaking disaster, a complete airhead, and she didn't last long on the job. She was as bad as I remember.

Quinn went back to the Washington Post and later married her shack-up, editor Ben Bradlee.

One can see an interview clip of Dan Rather with Pat Buchanan, a clip of Heywood Hale Broun talking about Saratoga, and since this broadcast was in August of 1973, no doubt he was following Secretariat and his entourage. Secretariat, as you may recall, lost the Whitney Stakes because he had come down with a fever.
