Thank God for the Internet

and people who keep track of the stupid remarks coming out of Republicans and so-called "Democrats" who think we who are jobless are just a bunch of lazy shits who just sit on our asses collecting our huge payments, which in my case didn't--and I mean DIDN'T because I don't have UI anymore thanks to these fuckers in Congress--even come to half my take-home pay as a teacher.

The latest culprit is PA gubernatorial candidate Tom Corbett, a dumb shit Republican, of course. The attitude of him and people like him is revealing of the utter contempt they have for the voters.

By the way, Pennsylvania's unemployment rate is 9.1 percent, way better than Oregon's or certainly Nevada's, but it sure as hell isn't anything to brag about.

Corbett's opponent should seize on this idiocy. Corbett is supposedly ahead in the polls; if he keeps up with his stupidity, his numbers should tank.

Just think, though, if Congress passes the phony "extension" until November. Almost all of the long-term unemployed will be running out of benefits and will join the current exhaustees, and it will be AFTER the elections. Congress will refuse to do anything thereafter while the economy takes a further nosedive.
