While Employment is Bleak for New College Graduates,

a select few have wound up getting long-term substitute jobs, also known as Teach for America positions.

Never mind these "teachers" don't perform any better than those who have real teaching degrees and certainly not better than veteran teachers. They also don't stick with teaching any longer than the regular teacher who quits or is pushed out of the system after five or six years (if that long).

The article notes there is intense competition for these jobs, yet people who have real preparation for real teaching are passed over in favor of these Ivy League-type airheads.
