they are going to be in the majority after November they don't want any "lame-duck" legislation to pass during the months of November and December before they resume power.
It's bad enough our representatives and especially senators don't do shit anyway, but this appears to be a deliberate slap in the face to the unemployed, whose benefits will expire at the end of November.
Too many voters buy into the GOP shit, when the real battle isn't between left and right or even Democrat and Republican but instead is with the tiny number of elites versus everybody else.
The GOP is bought and paid for by these elites, and the Democratic Party is increasingly so.
Democrats, if they have the balls, need to push this stuff front and center.
