Teachers Are Being Held "Accountable"

by teaching to the test while kids' performance in the classroom is largely based on matters out of teachers' control. Case in point is the fact there are over a MILLION homeless children in this country.

This is an outrage, but it is a sign of the times with rising unemployment, foreclosures, and so forth. All of it by design, so one should not expect our government to do one damned thing about it.
