claim they know what's best for teachers and schools when it is startlingly obvious they know NOTHING, and that teachers fare much worse as it is on pay and benefits than many in the private sector.
And yes these idiots also forget that in 14 or 15 states, teachers and other public employees don't pay into Social Security. That means if they start and end their teaching careers in the public schools, they won't be eligible for Social Security. If they worked part of their careers in education or other public jobs in these states, their SS benefits are reduced thanks to the "windfall elimination provision" unless they have paid into the system for at least 30 years.
