Even Paul Krugman doesn't care for the makeup of Obama's "deficit commission" which has as its goal to destroy Social Security (and Medicare), given the fact the panel was stacked with Pete Petersen clones who don't believe in the system as a matter of ideology.
You can bet the WTO, World Bank, and IMF are really behind the push to destroy SS; after all, they are pushing "austerity" measures in Europe. As we know or should know, "austerity measures" are simply schemes to get the masses to pay for the fuck-ups of the economic elite. The elites must be propped up at all costs for after all they are better than you and me.
