Dick Cheney shouldn't be channeled once in a while even though he is still alive, and certainly he comes to mind following this absolutely inexcusable defeat of the Democrats in the House and almost the Senate.
In 2008 Democrats had a mandate for action, and what do they do? They piss it away. But then again who is leading them? A president who holds Reagan in high regard as some kind of "transformative" figure. We have a president who holds ideas more closely with the country club Republicans than he does with Democrats.
The whole thing just makes me sick, but it does prove there isn't a whole lot of difference between the two parties anymore now that they've been bought off by the same elites wanting to turn this country into a third world paradise.
Myself, I think the country is just about done for.
