Teachers in Florida are headed for extremely rough times now that they have a new governor who is openly hostile to education.
Once nobody in college majors in education and refuses to work in public schools, there will be no problem at all. States will merely lower the standards for certification or even abolish it so that any idiot off the street will be able to "teach" kids to a sixth- or seventh-grade level. After all, third world countries do this, and the World Bank wants it this way because its members believe education is a waste of money.
