A family decides with their attorneys to shake down a southern Oregon school district following an incident or incidents involving a teacher who was accused and later fired for inappropriate touching of a kindergarten student. The suit is asking for a mere $6 million, which of course they won't get.
A couple of hundred grand, and they will be happy.

It costs HUNDREDS of dollars, which teachers must pay out of their own pockets, to be licensed. Besides, dosen't student teaching include performance assessments? Student teaching IS a "performance assessment."
For fuck's sake, cut this shit out of demonizing teachers.
