I am glad to hear I still have an itty-bitty chance to win the biggest single lottery in American history. The MegaMillions jackpot is now up to an estimated $290 million, with the winner's share being $182 million, I suspect before taxes.
Southern Oregon had a major winner back in 2005 when a man and his father-in-law hit $340 million on Powerball; sadly, the father-in-law died a year or two later.
