I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he caves to GOP demands of destroying Medicare and anything else these bastards want.

And people still vote these assholes in who have declared their utter contempt for the voters of America.

Just think when there is no more Medicare; of course they are trying a generational political wedge issue here by arbitrarily forcing people under 55 to take "voucher" plans that would never, ever work.

After all, the elderly were too poor to buy private insurance in the first place--that is why Medicare (and for the indigent, Medicaid) was created.

It appears a government shutdown is inevitable.

I am not optimistic about this state of affairs with this capitulating son of a bitch in the White House.
